Robert Rauschenberg

This exhibition was particularly useful to me as this artist too wanted to explore a fairly abstract concept by capturing light through his art. Seeing as how I've had a lot of issues with exploring water this was refreshing and inspiring to see how he overcame this by using metal and reflective surfaces such as mirrors.

It seems to be effective in his work and inspired some experiments using metal and mirrors for myself to distort the body in a way similar to the effect of water. It also shows how you can utilise less-tangible objects and ideas in a creative way and in this process you create something truly interesting.
